Infor solutions bested SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, and Microsoft, among others, in the new enterprise software ranking conducted annually by Panorama Consulting Solutions, based on surveys of its customer users.
In its 2017 Top 10 ERP Systems Rankings Report, Panorama cited these Infor strengths, in particular:
- Mobile functionality is far-reaching for remote employees and offices
- Robust and intuitive Business Intelligence functionality
Infor Cloud Suite "has been embraced by some larger, Fortune 1000 companies — a space long thought to be owned by SAP and Oracle," noted Panorama managing partner Eric Kimberling in a blog post analyzing its survey results.
The leading ERP consulting firm also noted Infor's particularly strong performance in average implementation time, and average implementation cost and payback period.
"Infor has proven that it can provide the robust and scalable needs of larger organizations, in addition to those of small to mid-size companies. This year's Top 10 rankings show that Infor competes very well with its Tier I ERP system peers, especially in terms of average implementation duration and cost," Kimberling said.
Panorama's website notes the 2017 Top 10 ERP Systems Rankings Report was developed "to identify the top ERP systems based on market share, implementation cost, implementation duration, benefits realization and software functionality. To ensure that the findings are as accurate as possible, data was gathered from Panorama's annual benchmark surveys between September 2012 and February 2016. A total of 1,660 respondents completed the surveys upon which this data is based. Functionality data was gathered from vendor demo scores from Panorama clients."
