Twingroup Global Solutions, partner of Infor and provider of IT "World Class" solutions and services, announced that SKF INDUSTRIE of Modugno (BA) went in live with Infor XA. The company is part of the international Swedish group SKF and It is specialized in rigid radial ball bearings production.
The migration project to the Infor XA solution is part of a global standardization and innovation project of the whole Swedish group. The project has been completed on december 2018 and recently the go live has been announced.
SKF ITALIA implemented Infor XA several years ago in some of the Italian plants: in 2000 Twingroup has been involved for the first time to implement Infor XA in RFT sites and again, in 2013, to follow the upgrade project to the release 9 of Infor XA. Recently Twingroup has been involved in the implementation of the PA/B2B electronic invoicing for RFT plants. Twingroup has been hired directly by Infor Sweden and by the SKF Headquarter. The electronic invoicing project started on June 2018 and currently it is in completion phase. Starting from now the PA/B2B electronic invoiving is part of Infor XA Italian Localization.
Thanks to the Infor XA implementation project, SKF BARI has succeded to adapt to the IT systems of the group, to take advantages of company standards, to align to the company's consolidated processes and to achieve greater overall efficiency.
